Sixth Street Lending Partners is an externally managed, closed-end, private investment company focused on lending to upper middle-market companies. The Company was formed on April 5, 2022. We partner with companies across a variety of industries to provide capital solutions to support organic growth, acquisitions, market or product expansion and recapitalizations (including restructurings).
The closed-end structure and size of our capital base enable us to follow a selective investment approach in providing capital solutions to upper middle-market companies with speed and certainty of execution. Sixth Street Lending Partners is structured as a closed-end, private business development company, or BDC, with no redemption rights during the private phase. We have elected to be regulated as a business development company under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder. Sixth Street Lending Partners is managed by Sixth Street Lending Partners Advisers, LLC, (the “Adviser”), an SEC-registered investment adviser. The Adviser sources and manages the portfolio through a team of investment professionals with significant expertise in middle market lending.
